@gbl08ma if you ever feel like writing a blog post on how you implemented your captcha (some code), I’d be happy to link to it :)

@gbl08ma just checking tny.im right now, it seems you have customized it a whole lot!
@gbl08ma was this function in use in a plugin or a custom thing?
@gbl08ma thanks for feedback, I appreciate! I really hesitated before sending this email
@nacin there’s a URL in it probably, I moderate at first “http://” — I’m checking it
@digitaltoast thanks for your feedback, I appreciate :)
@johnbillion if WP bumped requirements, hosts would have to ask users “mind if we update?”, to which 99% would say “don’t care, I’m just WP”
@johnbillion exactly: because of a 1% risk (custom/outdated scripts), hosts don’t update 99% others, simple users.
@johnbillion that’s 2 different population here: simple users, and people who wrote whacky scripts. The avg WP users just doesn’t care.
@johnbillion I don’t see where we disagree here :) Users should not (and do not) care about PHP. (I’ve replied to your comment)
