@atlantic2 y-a-t’il déjà eu une présentation du CMS WordPress? Est-ce que ça serait un sujet intéressant?

@aaronjorbin because… WordPress is what dragged me into PHP, and I’ve always wanted to write a tech book (you know, for the chicks!)

Boingboing is late & wrong on the story of France & hash passwords. Hopefully, stupidity lost to common sense and password hashing is OK.

Plague of today’s web is meta search engines. Search for something you want to buy, all you get is results from search & comparison engines.

@tnorthcutt I particularly appreciated the 6-to-8-week application process that was rejected after 18 weeks for “unknown reasons”…

in reply to tnorthcutt — 5:50pm Apr 8 2011 —

@tnorthcutt yep that’s it. Totally it. Bunch of stupid asses.

@petemall I tell them to pay you in check and you transfer me the amount via Paypal with a 5% commission? :)

in reply to petemall — 5:38pm Apr 8 2011 —

@dinicmilan errrrmm… (totally:)

@yoast I need an ITIN, which I still don’t have, either as an individual or a company, and the application process is random crap

in reply to yoast — 5:34pm Apr 8 2011 —

@carlhancock need an ITIN (Intl Tax ID Number) so they don’t take 30% on my royalties. IRS rejected my application for “unknown reasons”

in reply to carlhancock — 4:44pm Apr 8 2011 —

I will work again with a US publisher or any other business *only* if Paypal is an option. Been dealing with the IRS for 7 months now. DIE.
