@wptavern are you planning to blog about each plugin? (I am, like review I did last year)
I’m 35% done with reviewing the plugins from the Plugin Competition. Expecting 66% by friday. Other judges, how about you? Am I late? :-)
@deanperry No, I’m Mac free :)
One cool benefit of WordPress Extend: the .zip archives you get from there are not crippled with “.DS_Store” files and “__MACOSX” dirs …
@mirthlab just not an Apple fan. They make cool stuff, and they make huge craps too.
@mirthlab nope, don’t know anything that has something to do with iPhone
@mrtech hey that’s a cool domain :)
Holy cow, tr.im is going to be open-sourced tr.im/wz4b I *might* have a look at source code and steal a few stuff for YOURLS ;)
@westi @markjaquith chair and monitor: definitely the two pieces of equipment a coder must not overlook!
@isitnormal found you by random browsing, or from WTF subreddit maybe. Had a good laugh at some posts :)
Just found about isitnormal.com … Oh dear god, I’m going to waste a couple hours reading stuff there I think :))
“Please pick a username that’s at least 30 characters”. Seriously WTF is this website?
On planetOzh: How To Make HTTP Requests with WordPress ozh.in/og
@Viper007Bond bleh, me stupid, the plugin uses both WP_Http for a part and curl for another… Will fix this :-)
@Viper007Bond what’s funny too is that @Doc__Brown actually has followers :)
@JohnONolan no, it’s just something like tinyurl.com
the bit.ly bookmarklet contains a call to js function tstbklt(). WTF? And googling for “tstbklt” returns gazillions of malware sites. W.T.F.
RT @lyndiWP Setting up a Newsletter via FeedBurner ff.im/-6yGpo {simple, quick, efficient, indeed FB is enough in most cases}
@wptavern definitely the same for me. I simply don’t use a feed reader any longer now that I use Twitter.
