Some guy had a fun idea : modify his wp-comments.php so this file would write back 47 MB to spambots that try to POST something into it. Waste of bandwidth or ultimate answer ? Apparently he got completely rid of spam in a few days :)
Last.fm Stream Ripper
I just found about last.fm-ripper, a Perl CPAN module that saves last.fm radio streams to individual mp3's. How cool does that sound ? The readme even says that with a proper MP3::Tag module, mp3 files are saved with correct ID3 tags, which I haven't tried yet. Usage is cake easy. Once the archive untarred, you just : < View plain…
