WP-Plugins.net: just noticed this site in my referrers, didn’t know it. Good thing : the ever growing collection of plugins for Wordpress needs anything good to list them all :). (0) «

After months of tweaking at the crazy rate of 1 css line a week, I'm pleased to launch my new gallery, using Coppermine. I've gathered pictures from various galleries using "Gallery" and a home made script. I still miss some features from "Gallery" but overall Coppermine is a loooot easier to style.

You'll find there mostly pictures of my 2 sons, Oscar and Cyrus, primarily intented for Grandpas and Grandmas :) I've also put online my pictures from this summer trip to Malta, including really nice pictures of scuba diving. All in all that's about 700 pictures, expect about 400 more when I'm finished sorting those from this spring trip to USA South West National Parks :)

MagpieRSS 0.7: new version out with a few new features. I was even honoured by its author’s visit in my post about Magpie vs LastRSS :) (0) «

Cyrus
For the second time, I'm a father. Oscar, 2½ years old, has now a little brother, named Cyrus, who was born on Monday the 15th of November. Cyrus ? Geeks will recognize an IMAP server, litterates will think about the founder of the Persian Empire, mistypers will wonder about a cloud, but we didn't think of any of these, we just liked the name :)

Welcome Cyrus and long live to you !

Gmail POP: Now Gmail as a regular mail account with a web-based backup and all its features. Even more w00t. (0) «

Some time ago I came across LastRSS, a PHP RSS parser which caught my attention because it looked a lot lighter (just one tiny file) than MagpieRSS, the big gun of its category. So I decided to give LastRSS a try and went for some quick tests and benchmarks.
Is LastRSS powerful ? fast ? easy to use ? And compared to MagpieRSS, is it more powerful ? faster ? easier ?

GUIdebook: this neat site collects all things Graphic User Interface related : OS and applications screenshots, splash screens, icons, ads. I remembered myself using Photoshop 3 and Quark XPress 2 when I saw the old splashscreens :) Really cool site. (0) «
Pictures from the 50’s: something I dig and use from time to time in various project. This site is shite but the content is neat (particularly the pin-up collection) (0) «

I've updated a bit my Click Counter Plugin for WordPress, now version 1.01
This version improves a bit the SQL query code, now there is no redundant queries when the same URL is repeated. Also, RSS feeds don't have javascript in links any more, so they still validate (thanks to Donncha for pointing this problem)

Photoshop Drawing: a nice animated gif showing steps from raw sketch to nice drawing. Sweet :) (0) «
