Shorter URL for this post:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_DEC, expecting T_PAAMAYIM_NEKUDOTAYIM (like here for instance) Seriously, what were PHP coders on, when they decided to implement this kind of error message?? For the record, it just means you're missing a :: somewhere.

More specifically, they were Israeli guys.
It means "Twice" ("Paamayim") and "Nekudotayim" is the name of ":" in Hebrew.

I think more likely they programmed in their native tongue, and this might have missed translation into English.

While we're on this, they say a programming language is natural language independent. That's what I thought until I had to read and edit code written by Germans!
