I knew about the excellent WordPress Xref (read: cross-ref) maintained by Owen Winkler. This is a cross reference of all functions, variables and constants used and defined in WordPress, which provides worthy help when coding things in or for WordPress.

I just found about Functions, another project from the same man, which adds a handier way of searching WordPress functions with a suggest feature. Really neat.

    Yes, it’s a work in progress. The eventual goal being the production of patchable function documentation, so that you can use the PHPDoc comments to fuel intellisense in IDEs like Zend Studio. There is still a small glitch in the patch generator, and as soon as I have worked that out, I’ll be moving on to the next step…
