You write to be hopefully read, and your subscribers are people you are sure do read you. Now, what about increasing <em>effortlessly<\/em> your loyal readership by (at least) 20%?<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"508\" height=\"161\" src=\"http:\/\/planetozh.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/twitterss.jpg\" alt=\"\" title=\"twitterss\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-849\" srcset=\"https:\/\/planetozh.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/twitterss.jpg 508w, https:\/\/planetozh.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2008\/06\/twitterss-300x95.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 508px) 100vw, 508px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Twitter is a fun little tool I&#39;ve never really found any <em>need<\/em> for. I actually <em>use<\/em> it in various ways, like receiving twice a day an SMS with current prices of a few stocks I follow, but this is more of a gadget to impress my tech-unsavvy friends than something I need.<\/p>\n<p>A little more than one year ago, I started to send my blog updates to my Twitter account as another &quot;fun use of no need&quot;, and quickly literally forgot about it. A little more than one month ago, I remembered about it, and made a <a href=\"http:\/\/planetozh.com\/blog\/2008\/04\/follow-planetozh-on-twitter\/\">short announcement<\/a> that this blog updates were twittered. As a result, my <a href=\"http:\/\/twitter.com\/ozh\">Twitter account<\/a> just got past 100 followers (wooweee!) which can be considered as a bonus over my regular RSS readers.<\/p>\n<p>So, basically my point is: even if you don&#39;t use Twitter yourself, don&#39;t neglect people who do. There are a lot of easy ways to broadcast your blog posts through Twitter: <a href=\"http:\/\/twitterfeed.com\/\">Twitterfeed<\/a>, a free service I&#39;ve been using for more than a year now,  and of course a variety of <a href=\"http:\/\/wordpress.org\/extend\/plugins\/search.php?q=twitter\">WordPress Plugins<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Easy + potentially fun + obviously efficient + can do no harm anyway = do it!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Increasing the number of your subscribers is (or should be!) one of any blogger&#39;s goal.
