When you get 400k + visitors to your sites each day a script like Wordress is nothing more than a liability. To deliver a page full of simple HTML via a zillion php calls is at best dumb. Security and spam is a nightmare with any script that has its holes open for anyone to play with. Busy blogs should never ever use a script like Wordpress. I say Wordpress sucks and then some. My site is proudly powered by staticblog, dishes up to 1 million calls/day with one arm of the processor tied behind its back. WordPress is a plug and play toy. When you get 400k + visitors to your sites each day a script like Wordress is nothing more than a liability.
