The World of Hello World: some guy has put together a map of programming languages and rough locations in the world where they were created. Each language comes with its mandatory “Hello World” example. Very cool :)

    I thought PHP originated from Israel.. at least that’s what I remember reading on wikipedia.. will have to check that out later
